Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is a corrosion-resistant alloy of iron, chromium, and other elements. With a minimum of 10.5% chromium content, it forms a passive chromium oxide film on the surface, providing excellent resistance to rust and oxidation. Widely used in industrial equipment, construction, kitchenware, and medical applications due to its durability, hygiene, and low maintenance requirements.
Austenitic
Austenitic stainless steels are the most widely used family of stainless steels, featuring a face-centered cubic (FCC) crystal structure that provides excellent formability, weldability, and toughness. With high chromium and nickel content, they offer outstanding corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments, including acidic, neutral, and moderately oxidizing conditions. Common grades include 304, 316L, and 321, making them ideal for applications in food processing, chemical equipment, architecture, and general industrial use.
