310S Stainless Steel
310S stainless steel is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel with elevated chromium and nickel content, designed for superior oxidation resistance and strength at high temperatures. Its low carbon content prevents carbide precipitation, enhancing resistance to intergranular corrosion and ensuring long-term reliability in extreme conditions. This grade is widely used in furnace parts, heat exchangers, kilns, boilers, and other high-temperature industrial equipment. It is supplied in square bar form under standards such as ASTM A276/A479. 310S stainless steel is routinely specified for furnace muffles, radiant tubes, and heat-treatment fixtures operating above 1000°C, where standard austenitic grades like 304 or 316 would scale or lose strength.
